Blossoms is a feature film of romance, intrigue, and horror with a distinctly Saskatchewanian twist.

When deciding to be apart of this project, we wanted to ensure we had a focus. What we hoped to do with this film was explore different visual techniques, similar to the other feature film we are shooting alongside this project. Production for this project was split into two sections as we were hoping to capture the exteriors in the summer and interiors in the winter. The video above is a summary of the shots that we captured during the first shooting block.

We wanted to create a unique world for these characters and we did this by shooting a shallower depth of field then most people are used to seeing in narrative filmmaking. The video below is a summary of the shots that we captured during the first shooting block. All audio and colour is rough.
